Earlier this year we were invited to a Nando’s contractor day at their head office in London. The evenings festivities concluded with an auction in aid of initiative Goodbye Malaria, with the big ticket item being a round of golf at historic championship Scottish course Carnoustie. And as huge golf fans ourselves, we were excited to be able to bid in the auction and see our contribution go towards such a worthwhile cause.
We joint-won the auction with 3 other contractors, seeing 8 of us grab our golf clubs and make the trip up to Carnoustie in August. It was a truly brilliant experience, and we were all thrilled to be there.
Nando’s itself originated in South Africa, and the Goodbye Malaria initiative aims to inspire people all over the world to join the fight against malaria in the Southern African regions.
